I am Jana Foster-Harris! I identify as a Black Woman with the pronouns she/her/hers. I am a Columbus, OH native and got my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Livingstone College!

I have been working with youth and young adults for about seven to eight years. This has ranged from Summer Camps, Youth Readiness Summer Employment Programs, Collegiate Bridge Programs, a Communities In Schools Cite Coordinator, to even starting my own non-profit called Hittin’ The Road.

The modality I focus on in my practice is Systems Thoery. I believe that every system a youth is connected to has a high impact on their mental, emotional, and behavioral outcomes. My goal, as someone who lived in a marganilized community, is to be the advocate I needed, break barriers, and continue to provide resources to ensure minority students are successful.
